I have just finished the story of the Ballad of Gay Tony and I feel I might as well write what I thought of the game.
The story of Lost and the Damned was ok but a bit boring, however the story of The Ballad of Gay Tony was even more boring, the characters are boring, all the dialogs between the missions were very boring to watch, the character you play felt very underwhelming compared to previous GTA protagonists.
The game music is not so good, there are a few new cars which is nice, the missions were ok but nothing new.
The game got very positive reviews in popular gaming websites so I feel I need to say that it doesn't deserve the high praise it got. The game was boring for me to play, it is the weakest GTA title I played and in the end of it I just did the missions and I skipped all the conversations because I couldn't listen to the characters anymore.
I might give a try to the multiplayer now that I finished the single player, maybe the multiplayer is much better than the actual story game.
The bottom line is that I didn't like the game, I loved GTA 4 but I didn't like the GTA Episodes LC, maybe it is not only the game fault though, maybe it is me who has changed.
I have played GTA games since 2001 with GTA 3. I never loved GTA 1 and 2 but GTA3 impressed me to the point I wanted to buy it and play it, today 9 years later I am 26 years old and this type of game could be of less interest to me as it used to be.
