Why I still use Internet Explorer only

It is popular today to think that Internet Explorer is a bad browser and a user who really knows what his/her doing will use an alternative like Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari and etc.

But, Internet Explorer 8 is a fine browser and in the end of it all it's just a web browser, it's a software to browse web pages.

I don't need Google Chrome or Apple Safari to bring in their update software running all the time in my computer, it's enough to have windows update to take care of windows and Internet Explorer.

And this is why on my gaming PC I only use Internet Explorer, because I don't want any sort of update software running in the background all the time, a browser is just a browser, it is not that big of a deal which one it is as long as it supports the latest standards and works reasonably well and updated frequently, all of which Internet Explorer does very well in my opinion.

It's not that I love Microsoft or Internet Explorer, it's because I don't need 3 different browsers installed on my computer, why bother with installing another browser on my computer when I already have one that Microsoft supports, updated regularly and works fine, I don't need anything special, I don't need toolbars or anything like it.

It's the same thing with PDF files, why install Adobe Reader when it brings with it the Adobe updater that runs all the time, today with google docs you can open any PDF file in your browser.
The less unnecessary code that runs on your system, the better it performs, I will try to avoid any software that has stuff in it I don't need.
