Commander mode, one of the exclusive features of the Battlefield franchise will not be in Battlefield 3. How can DICE remove the Commander mode which was unique to Battlefield?
Anyone who is looking to play an FPS that offers more than what Call of Duty has will love to have the ability to play as commander.

If you follow the development of Battlefield 3 you must have heard that Battlefield 3 won’t include Commander feature Dice have said that BF3 will be a true successor to BF2, that can't be true if it won't have a commander.
The Commander role is for a veteran player who has played the game for a long time, a player who already played a lot as infantry, as a tank, as a jet and knows what each one of those need.
For example, with my experience in BF2 I know that infantry need UAV where most of the enemies are.
With my experience playing a tank I know they always want a supply box behind them.
With my experience as a jet pilot I know they always want the commander to spot the other jets
With my experience as a helicopter pilot I know they want the commander to spot the other attack helicopters.
That's why the player with the highest rank will be elected to be the commander, because it is always best to have the most experience player to do this job and to help his team with his experience of what every soldier need.
Also, players who already played a lot of everything enjoy sitting back and just helping the team instead of doing everything they already did again.
Having 1 player be the commander doesnt require the rest of the 31 players in the team to have "high threshold" of "game complexity" like what DICE said about BF3.
Commander is part of the exclusive features of Battlefield, along with huge maps, vehicles and large number of players, it must be in Battlefield 3.
