Yesterday I watched the live Battlefield 3 on E3 2011 http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/15232665
Battlefield 3 multiplayer as they show it on E3 is not a true sequel to Battlefield 2 and not even a Battlefield game at all in my opinion, here are a few points I have explaining why:
1. INFANTRY ONLY - the map they chose to show us on 2011 E3 is a 8vs8 Infantry only, Battlefield for me is all about the full war experience, ground vehicles, air vehicles, sea vehicles and infantry all out together on the same map, showing infantry only makes Battlefield 3 looks like another Call of Duty clone.
2. RUSH MODE - the game mode in the 2011 E3 is Rush, not conquest, in Battlefield 2 you had conquest only with flags in every strategic location where you had to capture to get the vehicles and spawning point of that base, personally I don't like Rush game mode and I prefer Conquest, the fact they chose to showcase the BF3 on E3 with the Rush mode is a disappointment.
3. NO COMMANDER - I already made a video about BF3 not having a Commander this is a huge step back and now in E3 2011 we see the multiplayer without a Commander, this is a huge step back, the Commader should have increased capabilities in Battlefield 3, they should have updated it with new features, not remove it, having the commander capabilities spread out to the entire team is a wrong decision.
4. ANOTHER COD CLONE - After watching the entire live Battlefield 3 2011 E3 coverage I felt like I was watching another Call of Duty clone, not a game that is suppose to be successor to Battlefield 2, what we saw in Battlefield 3 E3 2011 is a game that has no vechiles, small maps, small amount of players, not conquest mode, how is this game suppose to be a true successor to Battlefield 2? I already have Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, I don't need Battlefield to be another COD game, I want Battlefield to be more like Battlefield, more vehicles than before, bigger maps than before, more than 64 players, more of everything.
FINAL THOUGHTS - I know that what DICE showed on E3 2011 is only a alpha version of Battlefield 3, but the fact they decided to show a game with infantry only, no vechiles, no jets and rush mode instead of conquest mode can be an indication that DICE focused on Infantry more than than vechiles in the development of the game and is a slap in the face for old BF2 fans like me.

I feel the same way. They are trying to attract call of duty fans so much they are losing the old battlefield fans. But this isn't the full game so i hope its like the old battlefield.
dude its a option, i bieleve ! There has to be other maps with veiechles. Delete this video or make a new video better explaining why on earth you bieleve bf3 wont have veichles because this is only one map if they really dont have veichles in bf3 i will disown this game!
